Wondering how to celebrate Shakespeare's Birthday? Last year, World Book Night was launched in the UK, with great success. This year, we try it at home on April 23rd. It's free, it's fun, and it makes a difference.
Sign up now to be a World Book Night Giver, make three book choices from the list, pick them up at our reception party on April 16th, and give them away wherever you please. A shelter, a cafe, or even to the Haight/Ashbury street kids - wherever you think they're needed most.
We're so excited to be involved with this ambitious project, along with other booksellers across the country. Some of our own booksellers have signed up to give away books in the community. Now, all we need is YOU.
