The Booksmith made a book!
San Francisco and the Bay Area: the Haight Ashbury Edition is a book with big, gorgeous photographs of the Haight, the city, and the bay.
With emphasis on the neighborhood we love most, the book compiles photos taken from 2006-2012 by Dick Evans. There is a special introduction written by former Rolling Stone Editor Ben Fong-Torres and commentary from local guide and historian Stannous Flouride.
To celebrate, we invite you to a party at The Booksmith TONIGHT at 7:30 PM. Ben Fong-Torres will kick us off with an introduction, we'll have a slide show of photographs from the book & a quiz to test your local Haight knowledge – it should be lots of fun!
