Body:

Andrew Roe’s debut THE MIRACLE GIRL is the story of eight-year-old Anabelle, who is in coma-like state after a car accident that destroys her family. Then one day a family friend experiences a miracle while visiting Anabelle, word quickly spreads, and people start arriving from all over looking for miracle of their own. Inspired by a true story, Roe weaves together the familiar with the unexpected and explores the broader question of belief.

Andrew Roe has stories published by Tin House, One Story, The Sun, Glimmer Train, Slice, The Cincinnati Review, and other publications, as well as the anthologies 24 Bar Blues and Where Love Is Found. His nonfiction has been published in the New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Salon.com, and elsewhere. He lives in Oceanside, California, with his wife and three children.
