Signed Books

This page highlights some of the many signed books available, or soon to be available, at The Booksmith.

If you would like to purchase a signed book, please contact us via email at read@booksmith.com or by phone at 800-493-7323 (toll free in US) or 415-863-8688 and ask for Christy. Our Signed book department is staffed Tuesday - Friday.

If you are interested in a book and wish to visit the store to look at it on a day I'm not here, let me know and I will put a copy on hold for you.

We are happy to take orders in advance for signed books by authors who are scheduled to appear at our store or at a Booksmith sponsored event. To reserve a book or to have a title inscribed by an author, contact us before the scheduled event. Please check our Events Calendar to see who will be speaking and/or signing at our store.

If you wish to be on either our Collector Books or Events email list, please email us at read@booksmith.com and specify which list, or both (there is some overlap with the lists content) you want to be added to. Our Collectors's list is via Googlegroups, so be sure to allow Googlegroups to pass your spam wall! You can also sign up directly at http://groups.google.com/group/booksmithcollectors .

Please note: all books listed are hardback, first printing, first editions in new condition - unless otherwise stated.

This is an elegantly-structured, brilliantly-told novel, by turns terrifying, touching, and wildly funny, and always generous and magical. The Mayor's Tongue is about how we talk to each other and how make-believe helps us get on with our lives; most of all, it's about love. Kudos to Nathaniel Rich, who has created a brave book, a novel brimming with brio." - Stephen King

MUSIC & SHOWBIZ

Punk Is Dead: Punk Is Everything! by Bryan Turcotte (signed hardcover 1st edition, $39.95)
